Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I fell at an odd angle kinda twisted almost 2 months ago. The pain was slight and 9n the right front over the next few weeks it spread in a line to my back. The pain is getting worse especially when I twist and proper up on my pillows in bed in the same position no matter which it is for a period of time. Deep breathing hurts or getting into or out of car and even walking. Tylenol isn't helping at all. Sometimes the pain is so much I get physically nauseous. I don't have insurance. What could it be and what should I do?
Hi i am Dr Ahmed Aly thanks for using healthcaremagic site , I had gone through your question and understand your concerns ..
In my opinion its a kind of muscular spasm , shoulder joint overused ,heavy lifting . For now i may recommend painkiller like tylenol only when needed , hot massages with topical gels , muscle relaxants , avoid bad sitting and sleeping postures and try to straighten your b ach as much as you could . Otherwise if pain persists i suggest Xray ,MRI for proper evaluation and management to exclude cervical herniation which also is a common cause of such pain episodes .
